Vladislav Mikhailovich Artemiev ((ロシア語:Владислав Михайлович Артемьев); born 5 March 1998 in Omsk) is a Russian chess grandmaster and a chess prodigy. ==Chess career== Artemiev won the bronze medal in the European Under-14 championship of 2011.〔(European Youth Chess Championship Albena 2011 - Boys Under 14 ) Chess-Results〕 He won twice the World's Youth Stars - Vanya Somov Memorial, a round-robin tournament for juniors in Kirishi, in 2012 and 2013.〔(Somov Memorial-2013 ) Chess-Results〕 In 2013 he also won the Russian junior (Under-20) championship. Artemiev played for the Russian team at the Under-16 Chess Olympiads of 2012 and 2013. At the 2012 event he helped his team to win the gold medal and also won the individual silver medal for his performance on board three.
